So my new "fiancee" and I are headed up to San Fran for the '09 kick off. We'll be hanging with our new pals, Ashley and Chris. So there will probably be lots of pictures to show when we get back!! Can't wait!!

I wasn't gonna post these, but a buddy of mine commented on how much she liked them, lighting wise, so I thought I'd share. I was waiting for my girl to get off of work the other night and was horsing around with my flash, these are the results.
Despite my last post about how amazing it would be if we all weren't so selfish around the holidays (and yes buying people gifts they don't need to me is just as selfish as wanting a lot of gifts. Face it your trying to fill a personal need by buying overly priced gifts.) I find myself fighting this very desire...I really, really, really, would love to be selfish this year for CHRISTmas, cause I'd love a set of pocket wizards for some insane lighting flexibility. Why do they have to cost so much?? I truly feel blessed living in this country, but it's time like these when I feel the camel through the eye of a needle parable by living here. Does this mean I'd rather live in a poorer nation, nope, like I said I'm grateful, just like everyone else, walking the proverbial tight rope that is life in a consumeristic nation during the holiday squeeze. I've changed my mind, Santa if your listening, this year I want a nice helping of Jesus...best part about that gift?? I don't have to wait for CHRISTmas morning, to unwrap him. He's already here, ready to fill me up with CHRISTmas love!!

Member how I said winter was coming? Well I guess it's here when you wake up to this...okay its not snow, I live in Bakersfield, frost before February is a big deal. Usually its really nice and warm on Christmas, maybe, just maybe we'll have a "real" Christmas this year!!
I'm thinking of getting up early tommorrow...I'll see what I can conjure up...

Does anyone else feel this way today?

My cuz, Em and her husband stopped on by Saturday and the girls decorated the Christmas tree, and we took some quick pictures in front of it. The lights really gave some amazing lighting...Expect some more lighting play from these...I've got ideas!!!
